Scratch & Dust removal
To reduce dust and surface scratches, our trained technicians clean each and every negative with their own hands with micro fibre cloth & special solutions before scanning, as the scanner's sensitive sensor will pick up even a spec of dust on the photo, negative or slide. The sttuborn scratches, dust particals & torn out images are further fixed in photoshop.
Scanning
we scan your images manually at a very high resolution from 300dpi to 4000 dpi. The lowest Dpi option is best for enlarging your images upto 8 x 10 frames but the higher dpi option allows us to achieve the best results to get clarity and size, so you can enlarge your pictures to poster size without losing quality.
Color correction
After scanning we review each image in Photoshop where manual adjustments are made. We adjust color tones, clarity, reduce red eye, improve over all light balance and shadow enhancement. In order to give you the perfect picture the images are rotated and hand cropped to the edge of the frame. We don’t use automated software filters as a substitute which makes the real…….real difference.
Safe Guaranteed handling
Our professional qualified technicians follows strict procedures to ensure that each Photo, Negative or T.P. is accurately captured, is completely clear and handled with utmost care. If any problem is identified, our team will work towards improving it.
Storage
After removing the dust and cleaning, the negatives are scanned and saved in TIFF or JPEG files, which can be organized by date, event or filename. The scanned data of photographs can further be saved on top quality archival modes like DVD’s, USB Drives, Hard Drives, NAS System’s or LTO's.
